About Dr. Chauhan
Dr. Aseem Chauhan is the Chancellor of Amity University and also the President of the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF). He is also the President of Amity Innovation Incubator and CEO of the Amity Capital Ventures.
Amity Education Group currently has over 150,000 students in 300 programs at 150 institutions across 1200 acres of hi-tech campuses with 10 million sq. ft. of built-up area. Having 50 Campuses in India as well as campuses London, Singapore, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Romania, Amsterdam, South Africa, Mauritius, Kenya, and Uzbekistan.
Amity University and Amity Institutions have consistently been ranked amongst the top in the country. More than 6000 faculty and staff work in the Amity Group and are credited with having completed 300 funded research projects and having filed over 1000 patents.
Dr. Chauhan has extensive experience in venture capital and leveraged buyouts. He was formerly with AEA Investors, a multi-billion dollar private equity firm in New York which invests funds for current and former Fortune 100 CEOs and wealthy families across the world. Prior to this, he was at Philadelphia Ventures, providing early stage venture capital to biotech and hi-tech start-ups. He has also been with Mercer Management Consulting providing strategic advisory to leading companies in New York, London, and Hong Kong, and with JP Morgan in investment banking. Dr. Chauhan actively promotes entrepreneurship in India, particularly amongst youth.
Dr. Chauhan holds degrees in Engineering, Finance, and Strategic Management from The Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania and is an alumnus of the prestigious Jerome Fisher Program in Management & Technology.
Being A true leader and visionary and despite his hectic daily agenda, Dr. Chauhan sets time aside to contribute to a number of committees including the Government of India’s National Committee for Biotechnology Policy, the CII National Committee for Higher, Technical & Vocational Education and the US-India Higher Education Cooperation Council. Dr. Chauhan was recently selected as part of the “Champions of Change” program of the Prime Minister which involves young leaders in policy-making for the nation.
Dr. Chauhan is the President of the Indian National Football Club and the Founder and President of Amity United Football Club. He has also been on the FIFA Delhi Vision Board and is actively engaged in Sports Development in the Country.
He is a true institution-builder with a vision to grow Amity into one of the leading education providers in the world. A truly global citizen, Dr. Chauhan has spent nearly two decades in Europe and more than one decade in the US. He is constantly working towards the upliftment of society through his involvement in business and non-profit organizations.

Dr. Chauhan was listed amongst the 50 most influential Young Indians by GQ magazine. He was also awarded amongst the top 50 Emerging Leaders by Asia One. Dr. Chauhan was recognized by the News24 Channel under their first edition of “Jashn- e-Youngistan” an honor for the Youth of India in contributing towards dynamic new India. He was also conferred the “Visionary Leader Award” at the Africa Leadership Awards at Mauritius during December 2017, amongst several awards and recognition that he has received and has also been conferred
